Tissue Analytics makes extensive use of Cerner's FHIR API's to present clinicians with an end-to-end interface. Clinicians will be able to automatically pull patient demographic information directly into the TA mobile application and acquire images of their patient's wounds. They will be able to access TA's state of the art web application from within PowerChart so that they can accurately and efficiently track their patients' wounds in real-time. Most significantly, different providers across the health system will have access to this same objective data, drastically improving the continuum of care for wound patients.
- Non-wound specialist nurses use our mobile application to take photographs of Deep Tissue Injuries (DTIs) and Pressure Injuries upon admission, collecting a full record of community-acquired pressure injuries in seconds. Proper admission surveillance using our automated imaging can save a hospital millions each year in non-reimbursable expenses and CMS penalties.
- Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses (WOCNs), both inpatient and outpatient, use our SMART interface to conduct full wound consults and track patients through the entire continuum.
- Physicians and administrators use our population health and cost containment reporting to manage hospital-acquired pressure ulcer (HAPU) rates at a system-level.
