Cardiac Risk

Cardiac Risk presents relevant patient vitals and lab measurements and the calculated Reynolds Risk Score, along with a succinct, patient-friendly explanation for each result.

Cerner is excited to release the Cardiac Risk application - the atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) Risk App. The information required to estimate ASCVD risk includes age, sex, race, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, systolic blood pressure, blood pressure lowering medication use, diabetes status, and smoking status.
Once enabled, the ASCVD Risk Calculator application enables health care providers and patients to estimate 10-year and lifetime risks for ASCVD, defined as coronary death or nonfatal myocardial infarction, or fatal or nonfatal stroke, based on the American College of Cardiology 10-year ASCVD risk score and lifetime risk prediction tools. For patients under 59 years of age, a lifetime risk score is also calculated.
